The total amount imported under the tariff rate quota from February 29, 2020 to the end of December 31, 2020 is 57,940 dozen of poultry eggs and 110,000 tons of salt.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has just issued Circular 02/2020 / TT-BCT regulating the principle of import control according to tariff quotas for salt and poultry eggs in 2020.

The assignment of import tariff quotas shall comply with the provisions of Circular No. 12/2018 / TT-BCT of the Minister of Industry and Trade and Decree No. 69/2018 / ND-CP of the Government. This quota shall applied to entities whom directly use salt as raw materials for production.

The time for assignment of import tariff quotas shall be determined by the Ministry of Industry and Trade with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Finance.

This Circular takes effect from February 29, 2020 to December 31, 2020.
